How Do You Remove Pet Urine Odor?
If your pet seems to have accidents in the same spot, it might be because there is a lingering odor in that area. Here are some helpful ways to remove the odor and hopefully keep the area accident free. Apply club soda liberally to the effected area and blot with paper towels. Allow to dry and vacuum the area. Pour 1/4 inch of baking soda over the area if the odor still persists after the club soda method has dried. Leave the baking soda over the area for two days to absorb any lingering odors. Do not touch the baking soda. After the two days, vacuum the area. Mix 1 cup of peroxide, 1 tbsp. of baking soda and 1 tsp. of dish soap. Stir the mixture well and rub into the area with a sponge if neither of the above methods has worked. Allow to dry and vacuum the area.
