While this fabric is hard to hurt, it can accumulate rust stains if it comes in contact with a piece of rusted metal. These stains will likely not come out with soap and water. Fortunately, Naugahyde is durable and white Naugahyde can easily be treated with a bleaching solution that will remove nearly any rust stain, even if it has been on the fabric for quite some time.
