How Do You Remove Self-Adhesive Floor Tile?

0

Self adhesive floor tiles are a great way to change the look of your floor with a fraction of the time, effort, and cost of regular tiles. While these tiles are very simple to stick on the floor, they can be a bit challenging to remove. Sometimes they stick so well that they don’t want to come back up off the floor. Removing them can be fairly simple with the proper know how and a little time. Place a towel or bed sheet over the tile. It is best to work in sections, one tile at a time. Use a regular household steam iron to iron over the sheet or towel to heat up the tile. This may take a few minutes until the tile is soft and pliable. Use a metal scraper to get under a corner of the tile and begin to lift it up. Peel the tile away from the floor and set it in a designated bin or bag so that it doesn’t adhere to anything else. Repeat the process until all of the tiles are gone.
