How Do You Remove Sharpie Marker Paint?

0

Sharpie markers can leave unsightly marks on walls, cabinets or other surfaces, and can be difficult to remove with traditional cleaners. However, some simple household devices can be used to remove Sharpie marks from surfaces relatively easily without harming the surface itself. Clean the surface that has Sharpie marks with plain soap and water to remove any additional debris from the surface. Place a small amount of Pine-Sol on a damp washcloth (about 2 tbls.) and rub it on the effected area for about 1 minute. If there is a large amount of marker on the area, it may take slightly more pine-sol and more scrubbing time. Apply a small amount of nail polish remover without acetone to a sponge if the pine-sol has not removed the entire mark from the sharpie. Rub the nail polish remover over the area for about one minute until the entire mark has come off. Nail polish remover without acetone will not damage any paint or other finish on a surface. Wash the area with warm soapy water again
