How Do You Remove Soap Scum From Tumbled Marble?

Tumbled marble has an attractive, natural look that is found in many areas of the home, including the bathroom and kitchen. Sinks and bathtubs that are continuously in contact with soap quickly develop an unattractive layer of soap scum. This leaves the tumbled marble unclean and with a discolored film. To remove the soap scum, it is important to use mild ingredients safe enough for the tumbled marble but strong enough to remove the soap scum. Rinse the marble surface with hot water to moisten the soap scum residue. Pour 1 tsp. stone cleaner or mild liquid dish detergent onto a cleaning cloth. Both cleaners are effective and will cut through grease and soap scum with ease. Scrub the cleaner over the marble, continuing until all soap scum has been removed. Rinse the tumbled marble once more with hot water to wash away soap residue.
