Goof-off is a cleaning product that can be used on many different surfaces. Because it is a solvent, it should dissolve the spray paint. However, it shouldn’t dissolve your siding or the paint on your siding. Gradually apply the liquid, non-aerosol variety with a rag. Try Oops. Oops works in the same way as Goof-off. Apply the liquid variety, a little at a time, to the spray-painted area. Paint out the spray paint. Start with a primer to cover the spray paint’s uneven texture. Then paint over the affected area. Since paint colors can be hard to match, you may end up painting the entire side of a building.
