How Do You Remove Stickers With Oven Cleaner?
Whether they’re affixed to windows, walls or car bumpers, stickers can be a challenge to remove. Common cleaning products like soap and water aren’t usually effective, but even stubborn stickers can be removed with an unexpected ingredient: oven cleaner. Put on the protective mask and gloves. The oven cleaner may emit fumes, and could cause skin irritation. Spray the oven cleaner directly onto the sticker. If you are using this method on a surface that could be damaged by the oven cleaner, such as furniture or paint, test the cleaner in an inconspicuous area before use. Allow the cleaner to set on the adhesive for at least 10 minutes. This gives the chemicals in the cleaner ample time to break up the glue. Wipe away the sticker with a rag or stiff cloth. The adhesive should come up easily. Wash away any remaining cleaner with a damp towel.
