How Do You Remove Super Glue From Glass Lenses?
Super Glue is a strong bonding adhesive used in all kinds of applications, from models to home repairs. The glue can be dangerous if used in the wrong manner, and can even glue flesh together, such as fingers. If you are working with Super Glue, which is a clear liquid, you might not notice that you got some on yourself; before it dries, you could accidentally transfer it to other locations, such as your hair or glasses. Removing the glue from your lenses, however, is not as difficult as removing it from other places. Clean the glass lens with lens cleaner to remove any debris. This will allow you to see the glue more clearly and know what area to concentrate on. Soak the lens in warm water; Super Glue attached to glass will sometimes come off in water. Pop the lens out of the frame and only soak the lens in the water. Place a washcloth in the water first so the lens will have something to rest on to avoid scratches.
