Granite is a durable stone that can withstand a lot of wear and tear. Spills, heat and heavy objects are not match for granite. Super glue on granite, however, can be a bit of a sticky situation. You should avoid using certain products on granite that may damage the surface. Furthermore, you want to take care not to scratch the granite surface. Apply a small amount of acetone to an inconspicuous area of the granite surface. Allow it to sit on the surface for 24 hours to see if there are any changes to the stone or finish. Keep in mind that you can always reapply the finish to the granite if the acetone removes it. Put on a pair of rubber gloves and place a bit of acetone on a cotton swab. If you do not have straight acetone, a nail polish remover with acetone will work as well. Use the cotton swab to work the acetone around the outer edges of the glue stain.
