How Do You Remove The Face Shield Of A Bell Helmet?
The Bell company has been manufacturing motorcycle safety equipment for many years. Bell makes a variety of motorcycle helmets for all types of racing and street riding applications. A properly worn helmet may save your life in a motorcycle accident. Make sure you can see clearly through your helmet face shield. A scratched and worn face shield can hamper your vision. Bell makes replacement face shields, making it necessary the remove the old shield. Remove the brake screws located in front of the pivot point of the face shield on the right and left side. Turn the screws counterclockwise with a Phillips screwdriver and set them aside. Remove the brake washers located under the brake screws and set them aside. Use a Bell Racing hex wrench (available from a dealer) to remove the face shield pivot screws by turning them counterclockwise. Set them aside. Pull the face shield from the helmet and set it aside.
