How do you remove the fuel filter located on a 1997 Chevy Blazer?
Safey raise vehicle and disconnect the battery ground. Fuel filter is on frame under driver seat. Disconnect the compression fitting with proper metric wrenches. On the other side is a quick connect fitting; squeeze the ears together, push the ears toward the filter then pull apart quickly. There is a tool for it but my fingers seem to work just as good. Reverse procedure. Done. I hope this helps you.
