How do you remove the spare tire from a toyota tacoma?
by the way, not fun crawling underneath a pickup on a busy highway where dust/dirt/gravel is flying into your face. I highly suggest to anyone reading this to practice at the safety of your own home, retrieving a spare and learning to use the jack (don’t think you’d need to remove the bolts though you might want to see if they’re rusted b/c i’ve changed tires where they are and it is HARD to get off). I’ve had to change 6 tires on 6 different cars and EVERY single one has been slightly different and different enough to cause some frustration. Better to take an hour at home one weekend to figure it out and be that much less stressed than figuring it out on the side of the road and have that helpless feeling sinking in. It’s also a good time to make sure that the manual is there and that you can make sense of it (yeah the Tacoma was missing the manual and someone had to bring it out to me – very frustrating b/c I would never have guessed to use the hook as a flat edge or to even stick th
