How Do You Remove The Tub In A Whirlpool Cabrio Washer?
When replacing the drive gear in a Whirlpool Cabrio washer, it is necessary to take the tub out. Once you know how to remove the tub in a Whirlpool Cabrio washer you can quickly access the drive gear. The washer does not need to be disassembled to remove the tub. The top panel will rest in a service position after the control console is disconnected. Unplug the Whirlpool Cabrio washer from the electrical wall outlet. Pull the Cabrio washer away from the wall enough so you can work behind it. Go behind the washer and locate the three hex head mounting screws that secure the rear of the control console to the washer. Use a socket wrench to remove the retaining screws. Lift the control console off of the cabinet and lean it on the washer top. Use masking tape to label each of the wire connections coming from the washer to the control console. Disconnect each of the wire connections to the console. To release the wiring harnesses, press in on the plastic locking tabs and pull them apart. M
