How Do You Remove Urine Odor From A Foam Mattress?

We won’t name names, but someone didn’t make it to the bathroom last night. Now your foam mattress doesn’t smell so fresh anymore. Considering it’s too large to toss into the washing machine, cleaning your mattress poses a perplexing dilemma. While there isn’t going to be a quick fix for this smelly problem, you will be able to remove the urine and the odor that comes with it from your foam mattress with minimal effort. Remove the mattress from the bed and lay it flat on an area where you don’t have to worry about the floor underneath, such as the garage floor or outside on grass if weather permits. Soak the stained area with either 3 percent hydrogen peroxide or white vinegar. Use a clean cloth to gently press on the area to help the liquid get into the mattress. Move the mattress to a dry place and lay it flat. Cover the area with baking soda. This will draw moisture and odors out of the mattress, helping it to dry faster and smell better. Allow the mattress to dry for 24 to 48 hours
