How Do You Remove Viruses And Spyware?
Viruses and Spyware/Adware can cause many problems with a computer. Some of them can be very serious, while others can be downright annoying(popups, slowdowns, etc). Removing Viruses/Spyware is not as difficult as some people think. There are many great programs out there to facilitate with the removal. I always remove all items that load on startup before I start attempting to remove viruses/spyware. You can do this by clicking Start->Run, then typing msconfig. You then go to the Startup tab and click remove all. Once you have finished doing this, it will ask you to reboot. Do so. Now it’s time to pick out the programs we are going to use to scan and remove the viruses/spyware. I use a few, because some detect certain viruses/spyware better than others, so it’s good to be thorough. The first program I use is called Spybot Search & Destroy.
