How Do You Remove Wallpaper With Eco-Friendly Materials?

0

A quick and easy way to remove old wallpaper with only vinegar and water instead of using harmful chemicals. An alternative that makes much less mess than standard wallpaper removing techniques. Mix a solution of 3/4 vinegar and 1/4 water in the spray bottle. Shake well, until completely mixed. Lightly soak the desired section of wallpaper with the water and vinegar mixture by spraying 4-6 inches away from the wallpaper. Let the vinegar and water absorb into the wallpaper for best results. Let mixture absorb approx. 5 minutes. Begin peeling the wallpaper from the top of the section. Pull the wallpaper off in a horizontal direction. It is best to not pull the wallpaper off at an angle. If the wallpaper is not easily coming off, repeat steps 2 & 3; or add steam from an iron or steamer by holding the iron or steamer near to, but not touching the wallpaper.
