How Do You Remove Wax From A Glass Top Table?

If you use candles regularly, you will inevitably have a wax overflow or wax spill onto your furniture. Each type of furniture requires different care when removing wax, and glass top tables are one of the easiest to fix. It's simply a matter of removing the bulk of the wax, and then cleaning up the residue, if any. Most candles are made of paraffin wax, a petroleum product, which can easily be cleaned, using a variety of oil-based solvents. Allow the wax to cool completely before trying to remove it. Hold the hard plastic scraper at about 30 degrees to the table, and push firmly against the wax spill. Repeat until all the large pieces have been removed. Unless the table top is textured glass, this will most likely remove all the wax, but it is possible that a thin film will remain. Pour a small amount of candle mold cleaner into a paper towel and rub the remaining wax film. Candle mold cleaner is a strong wax solvent, and should remove the remaining wax easily.
