How Do You Remove Wax From Clothing And Other Fabrics?

0

When wax drips on your table cloth and your clothing most people just figure they have to throw it out or somehow cover it up. Here is a simple trick that will remove most wax from fabrics. Heat up the iron (setting should be for the fabric you are using) Place the fabric wax side up on the ironing table. Place the newspaper on top of the wax stain (you can use a paper towel if you are doing it on a very light or white fabric, otherwise use a newspaper) Start ironing the newspaper (fabric should be underneath it). You will start seeing it get waxy. Keep moving the paper around to areas that are clean. As you move around you will notice that the stain on the newspaper will keep getting smaller. This is the wax getting transferred form your fabric to the paper. You can do this until there is not wax any longer on the fabric. You are done! Now you will no longer have a wax stain on the piece of cloth.
