How Do You Repair A Split Fingernail?

0

This technique will allow you to fix artificial or real nails. The secret is to catch the split before the nail completely breaks. This repair is the best and the longest lasting repair. You will be amazed how long this repair will last you. Step 1 Take polish off if needed. Step 2 File the edge of the split until it feels like it will not snag on anything. Step 3 Cut a piece of fiberglass into a strip wide enough to cover over the split. Do not cover whole fingernail with fiberglass. Step 4 Apply glue on top of the strip a little at a time. You did not get the strip in place right or made a mistake use acid tone nail polish remover to remove glue and strip. Then reapply the strip. Step 5 Wait for your nail to dry. Then buff the top of your nail smooth. Step 6 Put base coat on or clear polish. Let base coat/clear polish dry completely. Step 7 Choose a color polish to your liking. Step 8 Apply the polish and let dry.
