0

Got a run in your favorite sweater? Fortunately, it can be fixed in no time. Step 1 Find the side of the sweater where the rows look like they run vertically around the run. That’s the side you want to work on. Step 2 Carefully inspect the start of the run. There should be one or more broken stitches that caused the run to start. Find them and pin them together for temporary stability. Step 3 Find the bottom of the run. There should be at least one stitch that hasn’t come out yet, but will soon. Carefully insert the crochet hook through that loop, catch the next loose thread with the hook end, and pull it through the loop. Repeat until you get back up to the broken stitch. Step 4 Leave the crochet hook in the last whole loop as a place holder. Working carefully, to not let any more yarn get loose, sew the broken stitch back together on what will be the wrong side of the garment. Use good sturdy thread and repeat the stitches a few times. Don’t pull the thread so tightly that it distort
