It is uncertain though, if a bra with an underwire protruding through the top of the bra, can be repaired. • Remove the broken underwire by pulling on the exposed ends of the underwire one at a time, bunch up the bra fabric a little at a time, in order to help gradually remove the underwire; safely dispose of the broken underwire. • Find an old bra of the same style and size. At one of the ends of an underwire, stretch the fabric free of the underwire, cut through the underwire casing and remove the underwire gradually as described in step 1. • Begin replacing the underwire into the bra you are reparing, gradually advancing the underwire to the inner top edge of the bra cup.
