How Do You Repel Mice With Herbs?

0

Mice can be annoying pests in your home and garden and can cause extensive damage. Perhaps you don’t want to spend a fortune on an exterminator or kill mice, just keep them away. Mice do not like strong smelling herbs and will stay away from them. Use the following steps for an inexpensive way to repel mice without using harmful chemicals or extermination. Look inside your home for areas where you suspect the mice may be getting in or the pathways they use to get around. Mice don’t like to be out in the open, so check under furniture and along the baseboards of the room. Sprinkle fresh or dried mint or holly leaves near potential mouse entrances and along any trails. Also sprinkle herbs near any areas, like food storage and prep spaces, to repel the mice. You can use any strong smelling herbs, but mint and holly are the easiest to find in garden centers or stores, if you don’t grow them yourself. Plant strong smelling herbs like mint, basil, rosemary, alliums, camphor plant, elderberry
