The Grand Cherokee uses a dual-filament bulb, part number 3057, for the taillight/brake light combination. The bulbs are very common and therefore easy to find. Most auto parts stores and retail stores, and even some convenience stores/gas stations, will have them in stock. Open the lift gate at the rear of your 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and locate the two retaining bolts on the inboard edge of the taillight assembly. Remove the two bolts with a 10mm socket and ratchet.
