If there are other obstructions near the screw, you may have to turn the spout towards you for easier access. Place the base of the screwdriver inside the spout for extra leverage and turn the nozzle counter clockwise until you can see the screw. After removing the screw, continue turning the spout counter clockwise until removed. It’s best to take the nozzle with you to the hardware store to ensure proper fit when purchasing a replacement. Make sure that you have the appropriate tools at home for the type of nozzle you purchase. Using a chisel or razor blade, scrape away any old caulk from the shower wall.
