How Do You Replace A Bosch Dishwasher Door Seal?
If you have a leaky Bosch dishwasher, check the door seal to make sure it still seals tight enough to keep the water from spilling out onto your kitchen floor. This is a common problem for older dishwashers because the rubber of the door seal becomes hard and no longer flexes to meet the door as it closes. Use the right replacement part for your Bosch dishwasher model to be sure that you get a tight seal. Let the new door seal sit in a bucket of warm water for several minutes before attempting to install it. This will soften the rubber so you can stretch it around the door opening. Remove any screws or retention clips that are holding the old seal onto the edge of the door opening. Some Bosch dishwashers only have a groove for mounting the seal, so you will not see any of these screws or clips. Use a plastic putty knife to pry one corner of the seal away from the dishwasher unit. Work your way around the seal with the knife until you have enough slack to pull the rest of the seal out o
