How Do You Replace A Ceiling Fan Switch?

0

When you replace the switch it is as simple as unscrewing and screwing on the wires. Replacing is fast and simple following the proper steps. You can replace the ceiling fan switch with a dimmer, or regular switch; wiring is the same for both. Turn off the main electrical switch. Remove the face plate from the switch. Unscrew the switch by unscrewing both screws. Pull it toward you. Unscrew the screws on the sides of the switch and remove the wires. Screw the wires onto the new switch, and then screw the switch back into the conduit box. Put on the face plate. Turn on the electricity and test your handiwork.
