How Do You Replace A Fuse For A Whirlpool Calypso?

0

A blown fuse in a Whirlpool Calypso washing machine is a fairly common problem. Unfortunately, in order to replace the fuse, the entire motor control board will need to be replaced. While this significantly increases the cost of the repair, it is still easy to accomplish and will save you money in the long run. Step 1 Unplug your washing machine from the power outlet and access the motor controller board by removing the front control cover. You will see two boards behind this panel. The motor control board is located to the far left. Step 2 Disconnect the old motor controller by unplugging it from the connectors. Unscrew the old controller board from its mount and remove from the washer. Step 3 Secure the new motor controller board to the mounting points with the screws provided or reuse the screws from the old one. Step 4 Reconnect the wires running from the washing machine to the control board and replace the front control cover plate. Step 5 Plug the washing machine back in and test
