How do you replace a headlight bulb?

0

Changing a headlight bulb on a car depends on the make and model of your vehicle, but the steps are fairly simple.  First, you must have a replacement bulb for your car.  You can go to any auto parts store and tell them the make and model of your car, and they will tell you the correct bulb to buy.  The second step is to remove the headlight cover from the headlight lamp.  If you don’t know how to do this, you should consult the book for your car model to make sure you don’t damage it.  Once the cover is removed, you unscrew the headlight bulb and screw in the new one.  Then you replace the headlight cover.  If you want to test to make sure that you did it correctly, just turn the battery of your car on without starting the car and turn on the headlights.

Your average cars headlights can be reached by popping the hood. Once the hood is popped you can look down between the radiator and front clip and there is a white or yellow plug that you twist and it will pull out exposing the bulb. All you have to do now is replace the bulb and plug it back in.
