Replacing a Moen single-handle faucet can be accomplished in 1-2 hours, depending on your experience with plumbing fixtures. Be sure to have the right tools on hand, and follow instructions carefully to avoid leaks and damaging your sink. Turn on your existing faucet to relieve any existing water pressure, and then turn it off. Turn the water line to your faucet off. Remove the current faucet. From beneath the sink, unscrew the supply lines from the faucet using pliers or a wrench. Spray oil or other lubricant around the base to facilitate easy removal, as corrosion may make faucets stubborn to remove. Do not use sharp objects to pry up the faucet, as this may damage the tile or porcelain sink. After removal, clean the faucet openings with a non-abrasive cleaner and dry thoroughly. Insert new faucet and deck plate. Center faucet over deck plate and pull supply lines through the opening.
