If your faucet filter system is broken or damaged, you’ll need to remove the old system and install a new one. Turn off the water faucet before you replace the PUR water filter. Twist the filter mounting nut (attached to the faucet) clockwise to unscrew it from the faucet. Set the old filter aside. Determine if the faucet adapter is compatible with your new filter. If your new PUR water filter is a different model, remove the old adapter with a pair of pliers. Install the supplied adapter and tighten it. Attach the new PUR water filter to the faucet.
