How Do You Replace An Isuzu Pickup Seat Belt?
Seat belts are the most basic but most important piece of safety equipment on your vehicle. They are required on every automobile manufactured or driven in the United State. If your seat belt isn’t working, you need to replace it or your car will not pass a safely inspection. Replacing a seat belt isn’t difficult and can be done in about 30 minutes per side. In this case the project vehicle is a 1999 Isuzu Hombre, but the process is similar for other vehicles. Using your hands, pop off the plastic cover over the top of the upper seat belt mount. Unbolt the upper seat belt mount using the 3/8-inch ratchet and a torx-head socket. Unbolt the lower seat belt mount using the 3/8-inch ratchet and a torx-head socket. Then pull out the seat belt and place it to the side. Bolt the replacement seat belt onto the upper mount using the 3/8-inch ratchet and a torx-head socket.
