Although the cars themselves are light and nimble, Acura’s target RSX demographic tends to be a bit harder on their binders than most. The RSX’s powerful brakes are responsive and reliable when new, but the stock pads will wear out quickly when applied for performance use. Place the jack under the front center jacking point, and support it with jack stands at the factory jack stand locations (on either side of the radiator support). Remove both wheels with the lug wrench. Check brake pad thickness with the metal ruler or dial calipers. Replace pads if they have less than 1.6 mm (0.06 inch) of material left.
