Repairing damaged ceiling tiles in a mobile home is difficult, so replacement is the best option, especially if they’re sagging or falling down. Homes that don’t have sheetrock ceilings, generally have tile or ceiling board. If your mobile home has a suspended ceiling, which is simply tiles set within grid work, then replacement is an easy prospect. This is one of the most common types of ceilings with tiles usually 2’x4′ or 2’x2′ and coming in a variety of textures, colors and styles. Step 1 Count each of the ceiling tiles you plan to replace and measure them. This is especially important for end pieces or specially fit pieces that are not the standard square or rectangle shape. Step 2 Apply the measurements you made to any new panels which must be specially cut. Using a pencil is an easy way to make marks. Cut the new panels to fit where the current ones go.
