How Do You Replace Moen Shower Faucet Handle?

Moen shower faucets are the top of the line in bathroom products. However, even top-of-the-line products will break occasionally. Though it is rare, the faucet handle can break requiring a new handle. You should go online to Moen.com to order a replacement handle. After you receive the handle, it is a matter of removing the old unit and installing the new handle. It is a good idea to check the cartridge while the handle is off of the faucet stem. Turn off the water supply to the shower. The shut-off valve is usually behind the tub wall. The access panel is in an adjacent room. If there is no access panel to the tub plumbing, the shut-off valves will be under the house in the crawl space. Feel under the faucet handle for a rubber cap. Remove the cap with your fingers.
