How Do You Replace Saab Xenon Lights?
Saab Xenon lights are high-intensity discharge lights. Replacing them only needs to be done when the light burns out. Replacement lights can be purchased from Saab or an auto parts store that carry Xenon high-intensity discharge lights. The model number for the new light is stamped into the base of the old light. Loosen the nut on the cable clamp running to the negative battery cable, then slide the clamp off the negative terminal. With Saab’s HID Xenon lights, it is best to disconnect the battery to avoid an accidental shock. This is due to the high power output required to power the Xenon lights. Remove the electrical plug from the back of the headlight housing assembly ballast. Remove the retaining ring that secures the light to the housing assembly from the top of the housing assembly.
