The filter status light on the touch panel indicates that the filter needs to be replaced six months after it is installed. Open the air filter door. Pull the old filter away from the refrigerator to remove it. Slide the new filter into the filter housing. Push the top and bottom of the air filter door to lock the door closed. Press the “Air Filter Reset” button and hold for three seconds.
