Step 1.

Shut the car engine off and engage the emergency brake for added safety. Also, make sure you turn the headlight switch off before proceeding.

  • Open the hood using the hood release latch located under the right hand side of the dash panel in the cab of the car.

  • Step 2

Open the hood using the primary and auxiliary hood release latches.

    Step 3.

  • If changing th passenger side headlight bulb follow this step.  If not proceed to step 4. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the clip from the top of the air cleaner duct and pull the duct out of the engine compartment.

Turn the headlight bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the headlight assembly.

You have to remove the headlight assembly mounting screws and remove the headlight assembly. Remove the power cable by squeezing the lock clip to release the cable, then release the bulb from the headlight assembly. Reverse process for the new bulb. I’ve only read how to do this – not done it on my own yet, so I expect to learn (and be frustrated) in my own replacement efforts later today. Hope this helps.
