How Do You Replace The Taillights In A Chrysler Town & Country?

0

The taillights on your Chrysler Town & Country should last many years before needing replacement. When a light does burn out, you must change it immediately for legal and safety reasons. The job only takes a few minutes to finish. Turn off your van to avoid a shock while working on the taillight. Engage the emergency brake for added safety. Open the lift gate to access the rear storage compartment. Remove the two screws from the inboard side of the taillight housing. Insert a fiber stick or screwdriver between the outboard side of the taillight assembly and the van’s body, and then pry the assembly loose. Twist the socket to remove it from the light assembly. Pull the bulb out of the socket. Replace the bulb, reinstall the socket and screw the light assembly back into place. Make sure the assembly’s secure before closing the lift gate and operating your van. Turn your van back on and test the taillights to make sure they work.
