How do you reposition and resculpt Breyer horses?

If you are re-positioning your Breyer Traditional scale model I suggest a boiling pan of water, and a piece of kitchen roll four layers thick. Follow these instructions:

#~ Think carefully if the model will be able to stand after you re-position it.
#~ Set your water boiling.
#~ When  the water is boiled dip the part of the model i.e-Tail in the water for about ten seconds.
#~ Now, while protecting your hands with the kitchen roll gently push or shape the part of the body you are re-positioning.
#~ Leave the models to cool down.
WARNING:
Boiling water can be dangerous. So always make sure that:
#~Pan handles are always turned so the are not pointing out.
#~You are always protecting your hands.
I hope you have some great newly shaped models by the end of it!

I use Aves Apoxie Sculpt. It is a 2-part epoxy clay that sets in 2-3 hours. There are a number of online sources for it. A secret to making it look nice is to smooth it with rubbing alcohol and a paintbrush when you’re finished sculpting but before it dries. Here are a couple more customizing links that explain a little more about repositioning: http://members.fortunecity.com/luvbun/tips.
