While it usually isn’t necessary, you can make changes to BIOS to attempt to fix problems. The BIOS configuration cannot be entered without a password. If you do not know the password for your Dell GX-240, your best option is to delete the current password and create a new one. Turn the computer off and unplug all of the cables. Turn the computer around so it stands straight up with the back facing you. Grab the top of the computer and carefully lower it down to the left. The computer should now be sitting on its side.
