How Do You Restore A Concrete Pool Deck?

0

Keeping your concrete pool deck looking nice can be a full-time job. It is constantly becoming damp with pool water and being run on all the time and is occasionally exposed to your pool’s chemical treatments. All of these things aid in creating tiny cracks and divots on the surface, which will turn your beautiful pool deck into a mess over time. There is a very easy way to get your deck looking nice again. Scrape the concrete surface with a flat shovel to loosen the surface debris. Power wash the deck to remove all debris. Allow the concrete to dry for a few hours and sweep up the remaining debris. Apply a thin coat of bonding adhesive to the concrete with a paint roller. This will allow the new surface of the concrete to adhere to the old surface. Mix the dry concrete with water according to the bag’s instructions. For this application, a normal wetness is the desirable consistency. Spread the concrete over the top of the old surface. Use your trowel to smooth it out as best you can.
