How do you restore windows media player to default fatory settings?

Why for heaven sake do you want to that. Windows Media Player is the worst player you can find anywhere. You have to install it, because it comes with windows xp or vista. When you want to play certain file types, you have to download all kind of different codecs. WMP does not play .avi, divx, .mov and quite a few others. If I were you, download a media player, that is free and can play all file types and has already all the necessary codecs. Gomplayer is the name. go to prefernces — Others — select all File Types All Codec. Now gomplayer is your default player and will play whatever you want it to play. Full screen watching hit enter Right click on player for menu – Control Panel (F7). Click CP or hit F7.
