How Do You Revise For AQA AS Biology Unit 1 Successfully?
the CGP revision guide is very helpful for giving condensed notes but sometimes you need extra detail so try buying or borrowing the AQA Biology AS textbook. It divides the specification into chapters, and has summary questions on the facts, and questions where you need to apply your knowledge (application) such as interpreting graphs and experiments. Application questions are VERY important as they make up quite a lot of the examination paper. Also rather than just reading notes make sure you are processing them somehow, like reciting them or writing them out. if you don’t have access to these resources, check out the AQA website, they have specimen and past papers to give you a feel for the type of questions that might be asked. I did these under exam conditions without my notes, after marking them i corrected the wrong answers with my notes. This is a good way of seeing which areas may need more practice than others.
