How Do You Roast A Turkey, Breast Side Down, In A Brown-In-Bag?
This is a great way to roast your turkey for your special family feast. The turkey breast will be so tender and juicy that you will probably never go back to the traditional way of roasting a turkey again. Completely thaw the turkey (if frozen) and cut a slit in the wrapper to remove the turkey. Wash the turkey in the sink and pat dry with a paper towel. Prepare stuffing as per directions on package. In a large bowl, add finely chopped celery and onions to the prepared stuffing. Mix well. Set the washed turkey on it’s bottom and open the flap where the neck used to be. With a spoon, put stuffing mixture in the cavity. Pull the neck skin flap over the stuffing and carefully tuck the wings behind the turkey to hold the flap in place.
