Most marriages start out full of romance. As the years go by children, chores, bills and problems have a way of interfering with the romance. If the romance is allowed to stay absent for too long, your marriage will soon be on rocky ground. It is important to remember that as long as you are still married, it is not too late to get the romance back. Step 1 Say “I love you.” That sounds very simple, but many married couples forget to tell their partners that they love them. Do not just assume that your spouse knows that you love him. Knowing someone loves you and hearing the words spoken are two different things. Step 2 Listen to your partner when he talks. Often we get so caught up in the daily grind that we forget to listen to those we love most. When you are talking to each other, stop whatever you are doing and pay attention.
