How Do You Run Data Verification For Peachtree Accounting Software?
Data Verification is a built-in Peachtree utility that helps you identify if data files are missing or possibly damaged. During the verification process, Peachtree makes any needed changes so that records are compatible with Peachtree data formats. From within the Peachtree application select Task > System > Change Accounting Period. Select Period 1 located at the top of the list then select “OK”. Select File > Data Verification to open the Data Verification dialog box. Mark the Both Tests (recommended) check box. Select “Start”. Before any data is verified and/or corrected, Peachtree will first create a backup of the current company data as a precaution. On the “Save Backup …” windows click the Save button.
