How Do You Saute Mushrooms?

I love sauteed mushrooms! Who doesn’t? Okay, maybe someone who doesn’t like mushrooms but then they wouldn’t be looking for recipes on how to cook them, now would they?! Here is great recipe for shrooms! Add enough butter and olive oil to coat the mushrooms. Mushrooms sweat out their water content and will shrink so keep that in mind if you are going to serve a lot of people. If you buy the large container and think that is going to be enough, better buy two. They do shrink that much. Cook on medium to low heat and stir frequently. Add the seasoning to your taste. I add the salt when the mushrooms are almost done. They don’t get as dark as they do when you salt in the beginning. When mushrooms are done, sprinkle with the dill weed to taste. Mind you some people are not thrilled with the taste and it can be overpowering if you get carried away. Serve with horseradish sauce.
