How Do You Save Money On Home Brew Equipment?

This goes with How to Brew Beer at Home and How to Bottle Your Brew To brew beer you need a 5 gallon pot and a heat source most people use their stove however I have found it allot easier to use a Turkey frier! Spent 20$ on my through eBay For fermentation buckets I used Homer buckets from the home depot drilled holes in the tops large enough for the air locks and saved a tun of money! Same goes for the Bottling bucket! Spent about 15 for all three buckets and lids No rinse sanitizer 2 shots bleach to 5 gallons water….. I use this constantly and have never had a problem with it! Use old Beer bottles such as Sam Adams and Magic hat, simply soak remove label wash and use! To make a wort chiller simply take a 20ft coil of 1/2 inch tubing carefully coil it around something such as a coffee can, then use half inch plastic tubing also purchased at the home depot (it will stretch fairly easily and hold tight to the copper tubing) cut the tubing in half attach half to each end of the copper
