There aren’t many waterfalls capable of producing a moonbow. Cumberland Falls near Williamsburg, Kentucky, Waimea, Hawaii, Upper and lower Yosemite falls and Victoria Falls are a few of the popular moonbow locations. With the right waterfall and the right circumstances you’re in for a treat. Go at a time when there is a full or nearly full moon. This will give you the greatest chance of having a bright moonbow. Sometimes a moonbow can be very faint. Position yourself so that you can see the moon and the waterfall is between you and the moon. This should let you see one of natures great wonders.
