How Do You Set Up A Password On A Sandisk Cruzer Micro Flash Drive?

0

Flash drives, such as the SanDisk Cruzer micro flash drive, are ideal for storing documents and files of all types, but sometimes you may have confidential files that you wish to keep private. If so, you can simply set a password on your smart drive, making it much more secure. Just be sure that you don’t forget your own password. Insert your SanDisk U3 smart drive into any USB port on your computer. Wait until the U3 system starts up and you can see the small, yellow U3 icon on the far right side of your taskbar. Click on it, and the U3 launchpad menu will pop out of the taskbar. Click the “Enable Security” button on the lower right column of the launchpad. In the password window that appears, enter your desired password in the appropriate “New Password” text box. Retype the exact same password in the text box labeled “Retype Password.” If you wish, you can enter a hint into the “Hint” text box. If you forget your password, the computer will allow you to view this hint in order to jog
